Actually, a multiverse.

One of the most handy things in his multiverse is the "ring of exchange". When you speak (or subvocalize) the command word, the ring exchanges whatever you're touching (and whatever is touching it, except the ground) with whatever is "in" the ring.

The ring can hold anything(s) up to the mass of two wooly mammoths, and of lesser magic than it. If you try to put bigger magic in, the wearer ends up in the ring, and everything that was in it is lying on the floor next to the ring.

If there's nothing in the ring, whatever's out goes in. If you're not touching anything, whatever's in comes out.
