Essentially, what I am saying is that I hate the holiday, and I really don't like any of the movies directly related to it.
This does not mean that I don't like movies that involve it somewhere along the way. It just must not be the focus of the film. For example, The Holiday is good, because it is a romantic comedy that surrounds that particular holiday. It doesn't have anything particularly to do with it, except that xmas actually occurs during the film. |
