What are you favorite Christmas movies? by imrambi2009-12-02 09:07:05

It's a Wonderful Life

A Christmas Carol (Alistair Sims version, not colorized)

Miracle on 34th Street (original 1947 version)

Nightmare Before Christmas

The Nutcracker Ballet (1986 Sendak set version) Holiday Affair

Polar Express

I wish the California Raisins Christmas Special still came on

and The Monkees Christmas Special too!

I don't watch all of these every year, except A Christmas Carol. It's a Christmas Eve tradition and we have bells to ring at the right time, chains to clank, and we eat our Christmas pudding when Scrooge is having his gruel. We polka at the appropriate time, and drink a toast to Scrooge along with the Crachits. Amongst other things. And we pretty well know the dialogue by heart, so there's always someone adding commentary. It's always a fun way to spend the evening.
