at the airport and in quite a few residential areas. Some sport some nasty and sometimes rather funny "graffiti" drawn by finger in the dust. There's a few police pounds which are full of vehicles with a thick dust layer (some of which were undoubtedly impounded because of serious traffic offences, but thoase are usually returned after 3 months) and a friend of mne told me of a large "storage yard" in Jebel Ali near the Shooting Club which apparently contains hundreds of stored cars. While the worst happened last winter and spring, there is a distinct possibility that a second wave is coming. Why? Well, after the last week's turmoil, how may of you would think that spending big money on property in DXB (which is a major pillar of the economy) is a good idea right now? Anyone? I thought so. More bad news for the property market here.
