In any case, I have a story.
One summer, some friends and I went on a road trip to Uluru (aka Ayres rock, the huge thing in the middle of Australia) and surrounds. Awesome trip; loved it.
Anyways, at one point, we exchanged pleasantries with a couple who were also there. Now, I swear on my life that we were NOT following them - but it seems our itineraries just happened to be the same. With thousands of square kilometers of area to cruise around in, over the next 3 days we happened to cross paths not just once or twice, but seven times. Even to the point that several hours drive away from all of those attractions, we happened to stop at the same fuel station at exactly the same time as them.
The look of relief on their faces when at that point we mutually determined that they were going west and we were going east after that was really quite something to see.
