safer vaccine. I'm saying the people b5ing and moaning about not getting vaccinated because of a 1-in-a-million risk had better not be playing the lottery...

My parents have gotten the flu shot every year for decades. My middle sister has gotten the flu shot every year for decades. I've never had a flu shot, but I've never had the flu -- I've always had a good immune system when it comes to URI-style bugs. My oldest sister refuses to get a flu shot since the time she got one and got horribly, horribly ill 2 days after the shot. She blames it on the shot, though the flu has a 3-7 day incubation period. She refuses to acknowledge it, but she was already sick when she got the shot; she just wasn't symptomatic at the time.

The doctors at the clinic I work at are fully determined to get everyone in the building (patient/doctor/nurse/staff) immunized due to the way this flu is already spreading. They are unanimous in their agreement that the risks of the flu are much higher than the risks of the flu shot.

Just don't let anyone tell you that the H1N1 vaccine isn't rigorously tested, and as safe as possible.
