While MSNBC may jump the shark occasionally, the other news organizations do a pretty good job of keeping their tone neutral.
Or, more accurately, they question what any administration does, which IMHO is a good definition of what investigative journalism is supposed to do.
On the shows that have a liberal slant, such as Behar's, they clearly label it as a "progressive" or "left" or "liberal" opinion show. If FOX admitted its "conservative" bias and labeled all the opinion pieces as opinion pieces, clearly and in a font just as large as those "talking point" subtitles they like to put under Beck and O'Reilly, I wouldn't have anywhere near as much problem with them. |
