One has to wonder, though, if even the White House is confusing the distinction between FOX News' "news" and "commentary", how are viewers supposed to tell the difference?
You have the same people doing both, mixed in the same programs, and not labeled one way or the other. Are we supposed to look for some secret handshake? The logo turning slightly more blue when there's commentary about?
The fact is that they provide their commentary AS news, pretending to be full-time journalists while laughing up their sleeved at everything that doesn't comply with Republican dogma.
So again, while I said in another post that the White House was wrong to try to exclude them, they have certainly had more than sufficient provocation to be tempted.
And they're right. FOX "News" is NOT truly a news organization. They're a commentary and political opinion organization that provides just enough actual news stories to disguise themselves as one. |
