Best I can find in a quick search (I'm just on the way out the door).
It was found that the FCC policy against intentional falsification of the news was not a "law, policy, or regulation" that qualified for whistleblower status.
In the earlier ruling, it was found that FOX intentionally misrepresented the facts on one series of stories, and that part was not overturned. However, as much as I'd like to say that it does, it doesn't amount to a blanket ruling of "FOX lies regularly". I think that's up to the opinion of the viewer.
The case, BTW, had nothing to do with the Obama "kerfuffle", so let's try to stick to Classic_Jon's original intent, shall we? I could go off all day on my opinion of FOX "News" but I'll restrain myself out of respect for his request to stay on-topic and not degenerate into the usual partisan rock-throwing. |
