Well...deer at 150 yards might be stretching it, but it is designed to penetrate body armor, and still have enough left to take down the wearer of said armor. Of course, if you run into a deer wearing a PASGT helmet/vest combo, it might be time to stop picking(and eating) the mushrooms you are finding in the wild. Since these two firearms are now available to the general public (formerly LEO/military only), there may be rounds more suited to the hunting of four-legged game.
