To the kennel for a week. I think that the gal that runs the place, has the Bestest job eveh! Four times a day she spends an hour in the kennel with all the kitties petting and rubbing them*. A gorgeous slab of land over looking a lake. They currently have about 12 cats in residence (plus two permanent cats) and a bunch of dogs. The cats all seemed happy to be there. With a good sized semi-private room, access to an outdoor patio (also private for each cat) and both a window that looks outside, and wire door so the cats can talk to each other and see who is coming and going.
Carmella settled right in, but Knuckles was growling the whole time. All the other cats were looking at Knuckles and laughing at her.
We will be `cat free' until next Sunday when we pick them up again.
*O.K. there is also a lot of work involved with feeding, cleaning, brushing the cats, Walking and exercising the dogs,and the usual business related overhead. But still KITEHZ! |
