I do like Ubuntu though. So, I'm going to back up what I have on that partition to this one and try another OS just to try it. I have two dozen or so to chose from; I've only sampled about two thirds of them. I may just get another one. They come with Linux Pro Magazines on fully loaded, usually live, DVDs. I'm still going to scan and try to repair it first though - all the data is intact.
