To answer your question here - You write the computer program, but it doesn't work (power loss, hacker, etc.) This is because, even though you have written some of the rules (what the computer is supposed to do), you haven't written all the rules - you haven't written the rules governing what hackers may do, what power supplies may do, etc. You are working in an open system, in which others may do things beyond your control.

In mathematics, you control *all* the rules. Others may not do things beyond your control, because (unless you choose otherwise) there are no things beyond your control.
