Yes, that's what the discussion is about. by kelli2172009-08-26 12:54:57
And when requested to, you were unable or by SnArL 2009-08-26 13:13:44
or unwilling to defend your position. And rather than make anything that remotely resembles a POINT, you whine.
You whine about how the Republicans have "done the same thing" so it should be ok for the Democrats to do it. You know what? F4 that doctrine of relative filth bulls4 and f4 you too.

When the Bush administration passed the PATRIOT ACT, I was one of the people expressing outrage and dissent.

When I discovered that Obama had forced solvent banks to accept TARP money, thus placing them under control of the Federal Government, I was likewise outraged.

Similiarly, I'm pissed at Obama for telling rabbis to push HIS political agenda on their parishioners.

And if you can provide proof that Bush had done the same thing during HIS presidency, I'll be pissed off about THAT, too.

Regardless of what either side has done, it does NOT excuse the same kind of behavior by the other side. Or perhaps you'd care to amend your views on torture? After all, the other side does it, right? WE should be able to do it to...because if we don't, the terrorists will have an advantage over us and we might lose.

But WHAT WOULD WE BE LOSING? The War On Terror? Who cares? I can tell you exactly what we would lose should we take YOUR approach and stoop to the enemy's level: the very principles on which our country is founded.

So yes, F4 YOU. F4 YOU for even CONSIDERING "stooping to the enemy's level" as a viable option. F4 YOU for making MY COUNTRY a worse place.
