| And by the way, before anyone tries to play the "making the board a worse place to be" card, let me just say this: There have been plenty of people who have left the board because of the conservative crap that gets posted here on a nearly daily basis that goes unchallenged because nobody wants things to get nasty. The board was made a worse place for THEM. Who stands up for them?
Illiad, if you read this, I'm just making a point here. The entire WORLD seems to be getting along just fine with a considerably more left-leaning way of thinking and behaving, and the US is still full of a bunch of knuckle-dragging troglodytes who, despite being demonstrably in the minority when it comes to polls about values, manage to monopolize and polarize all political discussion. And they do so by steamrolling over anybody who dares to disagree with them.
So I'm a steamroller today. I doubt that I'll have the emotional energy to be one tomorrow; I'll probably be my normal self again by then. |
