What random act of kindness have you done lately? by Illiad 2009-08-26 10:47:26
A friend asked me that last week. I made it a point to do something about it. A couple days ago, I helped an elderly couple in my Mum's building carry their air conditioner to their flat, and set it up for them.

I now have an open invitation to tea and scones with them, any afternoon I want. "Just knock on our door! We'd love to see you."

I felt all mushy for hours after. Altruism hell. It felt good to do this.
