and having the time to try it and see what happens. It's not the kind of thing you'd want to try on an officer like, say, on the way to work. ;-) Also, if the guard fell for it the first time out of a sense of humour,(I waved my hand and said: "You don't need to see his identification") the second time through was a very bad time to try it. The day before, a guy had been caught trying to smuggle explosives into Canada for some kind of protest.
