Monetary Commentary by Illiad2009-08-24 13:35:43
Usury is not in itself parasitic. You get what you by adiplomat2009-08-24 13:57:04
Usury is not mere debt by esbita2009-08-24 14:30:57
Usury is simply the lending of money at interest. by adiplomat 2009-08-24 14:45:11
It has, for quite some time, had a negative connotation, which is part of the reason I called "Bias!" on the commentator. The comment used "usury" to describe any lending of money, as the term actually means, but wrote connotatively, implying that ALL lending was usurious.

That's where s/he needs spanking. Lending is an absolute necessity, and the author appeared to me to condemn it completely.

That was unclear. "All lending was usurious" by adiplomat2009-08-24 14:59:35
