This weekend I finally got around to unpacking my by techi870 2009-08-24 12:42:40
RC helicopter. It's been in storage for close to a year due to the move. While I was replacing a couple of broken/cracked rotors I noticed part of the main shaft wasn't looking to good. I decided to try a quick flight anyway. It didn't want to fly that great and there were a couple of hard landings (though the potato plants did cushion one landing).

So I decided to take it into the local hobby shop and have them replace the parts and fix the trim issues I was having. Paying them $30/hr means it will get fixed right and lessons the chance of me trashing it completely.
