How would conversing with an AI about its thoughts be materially different from this conversation between you and I? Would it be substantially different if German my first language was and syntax German mine typically was? Was, wenn Ich auf Deutsch anstelle von auf Englisch schrieb? How much similarity is needed, before you recognize an intelligence akin to your own, and presume thoughts underlying it?
