Thanks! There's actually some debate about whether we have "open comments" or "moderated comments". The problem with making a clear distinction is that moderated comments aren't necessarily moderated immediately, and there's no guarantee that they'll be moderated at all (unlike, for example, the BBC, where comments on news articles can't appear until approved by a BBC moderator).
