Data Recovery Advice please by waveydavey 2009-08-24 01:10:40
Any suggestions for tools to search free disk space or a reformatted drive WITH OS RELOADED, for pete's sake?
Friend-of-a-customer was having problems with XP installation. Idiot youth from down street sez "I can fix that for U!" and reloads XP *with re-format* and wipes 5 years of photo's! Bloody numpty made no attempt to back anything up first.
Are there any tools that will trundle thru free space, maybe find anything? Doesn't need to be free, but not too expensive please. Data recovery companies not an option though, they're way too expensive.
