Random story time: Don't point that... by RetiQlum2 2009-08-07 09:10:45
...psychologist at me unless you intend to use it!

One of the things that they made me do at rehab (yes, Klar I know haven't finished it yet) was to go see a psychobabbler.

The poor fellow didn't know what hit him.

I had figured out what made me an alcoholic long before I ever asked for grubberment help. He had a doctorate in knowing what makes people tick. The problem is that it's all theory. Real science requires repeatable experiments with the same results. Psychobabblers can't do that because that would be unethical and immoral. So they try to ask you questions to find out how you fit into society.

I hacked his brain. Hell, I had nothing else to do! They wouldn't allow me computers or books or any bloody-thing else. So I hacked the psychobabbler. He was trying to figure out my brain but I turned all his questions back at him..

It wasn't very interesting. By the time I was 8 I had done more interesting things than this guy had. I'm an e-ticket ride and this guy couldn't scrape up the neurons to catch a taxi home.

If you are going to point a psychobabbler at me, use a larger caliber. And get me drunk first. Oh, wait, I was in rehab - no booze. Don't point one of them at me. A kitten would be more effective.
