| There are some, though, who are fully developed and aware of their actions, capable of remorse, and empathic towards others' pain and misfortune, who still commit crimes. Most often (I would hope) these are either crimes committed in the heat of momentary passion, or crimes of circumstance (one with no money who shoplifts in order to get food, for example). They must still be considered pathological cases from the viewpoint of society, however, as those who succumb to the temptation to commit crimes instead of finding other, more acceptable solutions to their problems are still dangerous to the workings of a society. |
