Not comfortable with formagasket under pressure, and the water pump on this motor flat-out lays it down...

Mounting face for the thermostat/housing gasket is about 10-15 degrees off vertical, ABS pump is in the way on the right and power steering pump is in the way on the left. Hard to get the thermostat to stay in the seat while getting the housing in place and bolted down - usually end up having it fall out of the seat and get caught between face and housing and not noticing until it starts peeing water...
