I don't remember the name off hand, but it basically stated that a transaction of selling wheat grown in Kansas to a grain elevator in Kansas constituted Interstate Commerce, since wheat is a good that is ordnarily traded in interstate commerce, and the wheat in this particular transaction was in no reasonable way distingushable from any other wheat.

I can see that same logic applied to the guns in this case.
