Why does the status of the creator by MatthewDBA2009-05-08 11:34:13
That's not what you asked... by jdelphiki 2009-05-08 12:12:51
You asked: "I'm just wondering whether you could decide whether it had created everything or not."

As a part of the "creation", our decision as to whether the creator had created everything is going to be based on our perception of its fallability or omnipotence. Certainly, a fallable creator could possibly have created everything, but our perception/judgement of whether it actually *did* create everything is going to be based on whether or not we believe that the creator actually is capable of doing so.

If we, ourselves, see signs that the creator is fallable, we're much less likely to believe it capable of having created everything. I mean, if you buy a car that turns out to be a lemon, are you likely to expect that the car company will be able to produce a non-lemon car the next time you go buy one?
