It would suck if you made Gallo Hearty Burgundy. ;)
To answer your question, we'd have to know if the creator was supposed to be a perfect, all-knowing/all-loving being, or just powerful enough to have made everything. The creator tho hates the planet or a certain type of wine is not one that we could presume to be "perfect" precisely *because* of those dislikes.
That would cast the creator into the light of simply being powerful, but not necessarily flawless (from our perspective, at least). An all-powerful, but not-all-loving creator is just another version of bigger-better-faster: much more easily despised as a bully instead of as a being that cares about its creation. On the other hand, an all-loving, but not-all-powerful creator appears weak and, effectively, discourages trust by any perceieved "failures" of power.
So you'd pretty much have to have both in a creator: all-powerful and all-loving. Otherwise, the experience would be less-than flawless, equating said creator as just another part of the creation instead of existing somewhere outside (and above) it. |
