And perhaps I didn't give enough of the context to make that clear - looking back, I definitely didn't. The context is a discussion about what generalizations you could make about a being, based solely on an experience (perhaps a single experience) of interacting with that being. For example, could you say, with even reasonable certainty, that the being created the universe - as opposed to "the universe except for one planet"? Could you distinguish between those solely on the basis of your experience?

I don't think you can predict "with certainty" that there would be no difference between your experience of me having written the program and not having written the program. The subject may come up, and my responses to you would probably be different.
