Question on dog training by iarann 2009-05-08 06:54:41
I've got a approx. five year old mixed breed (lovable mutt). He has an extremely happy temperament with one problem. He is extremely noise shy. Any sudden loud noise; door slamming, gun shot (even distant) or thunder causes him to cower and hide. We had a storm door that the upper window fell open when it closed. He refused to come through that door without someone holding his collar.

Is it possible to temper this behavior?
