tlay and time (SSLR) I've found 5gal carboys but they run ~$AU90 a piece, so it's going to cost me a minimum of $AU180 (plus freight) for a single large batch. And given the time it takes to make a batch I'd like to have several smaller batches of different varieties "on the go" at once (for experimental purposes) Then once I've figured out what works for me I'll spend up on the kit I'd need for making big batches.
