As a gay man who has to deal with the challenge of religious people trying to dictate how I should live my life, I would like to thank you for your approach. You are like my friends Rick (Catholic) and Sherri (Christian). They are both incredibly supportive and loving, and have basically threatened to wound me if I don't invite them to my wedding. :) To compare you to them is a great compliment to you as they are two of the most Christ-like people that I have ever met. The way you have presented your arguement has been both eloquent and thoughtful. Especially your "render unto Caesar that which is Caesar's, and unto God that which is God's" post yesterday. What I am especially thankful for is how your posts help remind me that not all relgious folks are trying to tell me how I should live my life and such. Dude, thank you!
