"Who should the State allow to marry?" If something has gone unchanged for centuries, there's often a reason why. What is that reason? Does that reason still apply? I think knowing exactly why a marriage with two men and no women is different from a marriage with three men and no women would be quite useful. Neither union can produce children to perpetuate the State, so why should the State allow it? Or is my approach completely wrong, as it may possibly be?
