I don't see this as something that needs to be legislated at all - it should be a given that any 2 consenting adults should be able to bind themselves together in a legal unit known as a "marriage". The state has nothing to do with religion, dammit!

And the Gods I follow have little or nothing in common with the regulations espoused in that book you call "The Bible". I thought your God told people to "Love each other" and "Do unto others as you would have them do unto you" -- which, in this case, would be to nullify your marriage and prescribe who you can and cannot marry or love.
