The fact that my church would explicitly not be forced to perform such marriages is immaterial. My personal vote for it means that I approve of it, which puts me in violation of God's law.
If the law still passes, then I'll comply with it, which falls under "Render unto Caesar the things which are Caesar's, and unto God the things that are God's." I cannot, however, refrain from opposing such a law and have my God and my conscience be satisfied with me.
