Just in case you hadn't noticed, autoposts like the appeal, recent diary notifications, etc...have all stopped.
Why? Well...it's complicated. Mainly, guilt. I can't do a good job of maintaining them because of a serious lack of time. Heck, I can't do a whole lot of vital things because of a serious lack of time. And when a few (more than one or two, just so no individual feels guilty) complain about me not finding time to do things like make alterations to the diary post or the appeal colours...well, it's not that I get annoyed with them - I just feel guilty that I haven't put in the effort that such things deserve.
So, anyway, since I barely participate here (for a variety of reasons, not the least of which is the aforementioned lack of time), it's silly for me to continually go through this guilt-request-failure-guilt cycle.
Hope everyone understands. FWIW, the combination of getting/splitting firewood to get through -30 degree weather, snow shoveling (MUCH more than anyone anticipated), 50-60 hour workweeks, Molly, Jen, a Microeconomics course, buying a new house, selling the previous property, and trying to find a little time to relax...is what's interfered. I haven't found anywhere else to be on the internet for anything really enjoyable.
