Will that trash the installed apps? by Werehatrack 2009-04-10 21:29:53
The main thing I'm trying to avoid is having to reinstall several large packages (Corel Graphics, Office, Nero, multitude of smaller progs) if I step to XP. I'll just do the 2000 reinstall if that's likely, as I do not have time right now for a bunch of app reloads. (Oh, and I don't let installers dump loads of crap on C:, so most of my apps are on other physical drives or partitions anyway.)(Did I mention my complete loathing for any directory structure that includes the word "My"?) (I also default to *not* using C: for any datafiles, to the extent that progs can be configured to leave that drive the h4 alone when saving data.)
