and from what I've seen, the larger container ships carry similar.

They're about 35' long, with a beam of about 12'. The foward and aft third are covered over with hard reinforced fiberglass, while the center third is covered with a heavy rubberized tarp that can be opened or closed depending on weather conditions. The only real windows are in a raised coupola in the aft section for the boat pilot to see out of.

With the center tarp up, it would be extrememly difficult to get a shot at anyone, and there is no deck to speak of for divers to gain control of the boat.
