A comedy, actually. Here's a clip of the script:
Tom: "Oh crap! I've lost my breaks!"
Tom jumps off the bicycle. Tom slides to a stop as the bike goes over a cliff. Mike and Tom run up to the edge of the cliff a second after Tom jumps off the bike. The bike is tumbling, letting off an improbably large explosion with every impact. The bike comes to a fiery stop at the base of the cliff.
Mike: "WTF? What was that bike made of, C4???"
Tom: "What? Uh, no. Dude, this is Hollywood; anything can blow up."
Mike: "Ah, I get it. . . I think. . . I thought we were in Arizona."
Tom, pointing at the camera: "Yeah, but this is a movie."
