The best feedback to send is 80Hz. Your average feedback is in the 2kHz range. It's ear splitting, but can be muffled pretty easily, and even drowned out with other sounds. Low frequencies tend to travel farther. Low frequencies also have a tendency to actually ruin a person's body, not just hearing. earplugs do almost nothing as it literally vibrates your head.
Of course I'm a bassist, so I have the equipment to really shake a building. 2 8x10 cabinets 1000 watts, reverb and a bass tuned to C#... Hit that note at full volume, and it just about makes them think it's an earthquake. |
