(Although, due to his performance in "3000 Miles To Graceland" I have to say that Costner actually can act, whereas with Reeves that's in doubt.)
There's always room for wooden faced, dull voiced actors in movies. If nothing else, someday some idiot will make a biopic about Al Gore! Where will it be without an actor like those two? :+)
Both of these guys make excellent foils for other, better, supporting actors. For example, how could Sean Connery have walked off with "The Untouchables" without such a boring lead? How could Hugo Weaving have been anywhere near as menacing without a dweeb like Reeves to threaten? |
