and it's sad that allowing themselves to be photographed without make-up and photoshop is considered taking a stand in the first place.
Jamie Lee Curtis famously did a photo spread where she showed herself completely without make-up, no fancy wardrobe, no hairstylist, etc. and then did a similar comparison photo done the more traditional way.
I remember a lot of comments when HDTV first came out, that people were suddenly able to see a lot of the blemishes and acne scars and such, on female and male alike. Personally, I think that's a good thing. |
