First he assumes an unexplained process that makes the human mind something more than a physical process. That's a pretty big leap of logic right there, and it's not supported by any evidence or indeed argument. Even if one was to swallow that, why is he so sure that *this* kind of mind is telling him the truth? He just assumes that it does. I can make the same conclusion about a purely physical mind, based solely on my original assumption about the nature and existence of the universe.
