We often get calls	by maddriver	2009-04-02 10:33:49
asking for the Managing Director by first name, trying to act like they know him. Usually American accents (we're in UK) that make me want to ask if they've ever seen the film Boiler Room. Usually we try to point out that we can't put calls through without the company name or a brief description of what the calls about. Occasionally one will insist that the md will recognise his name, but by the time we've spoken to md and confirmed he doesn't the lines gone dead.
