Carmella took to the great outdoors (we started her on a harness and leash) and now only during the worst weather will she use the indoor litter box. Knuckles was an indoor cat before we got her, and although we take her out for walks, she will wait until she is back indoors before doing her business in the litter box. Even up at the summer house where she was allowed free roaming privileges, she would come inside to poop, then go back out in the forest to play. Best of luck on finding kitties new homes for the interim. Landlords are evil!
