...but I preferred setting up a nice stout base defense and "turtling" until my opponent(s) had beat themselves silly on my defenses and lost their cool. Then I'd slide an invasion force in their back door (which was virtually always unguarded, since they'd get impatient and commit everything to getting in my base) and pwn them.
