Think it comes from having 3 other dogs using her as a playtoy in her earlier years...
She startled all of us, the dog included, when he caught her on the floor and tried to get her to playfight - she whipped around and =snarled= at him, like a miniature puma; he stopped dead in his tracks and backed off, with the same wide-eyed stare the rest of us had upon hearing it...
She then whirled and beat feet out into the living room to get up to her high-ground perch, the dog in completely clueless, blissful pursuit. He yet-again got the snot slapped out of him multiple times. She hits him so hard we can hear his jaws flap when she does - fortunately for him, she's front-declawed, or we'd be cleaning up bloody ribbons... |
