BLU-82 is not good at clearing the subsurface over a large area. Enough T-12 drops in a given area might concuss the buried targets sufficiently, but cane toads are like termites; miss one breeder and you get instant reinfestation with the next propagation cycle. Roto-tilling everything to a depth of about half a mater is the only way to be sure you got them all.
