We've had to temporarily keep some of the barn cats indoors so we could give them meds. First few days the cat is in a dog crate with a litterbox, and litterbox habits are perfect. After that he has the run of the room with a litterbox, and still uses the box. They are quite eager to escape if they get a chance at an open door though...
