what happened to those drives... ive never had WD or seagate fail on me (except for factory lemons and those fail right quick)... Ive dealt with customer failures but mostly ive attributed it to poor handling especially while on. Ive given away almost all my old drives, just a couple years back gave up a whole buncha quantum 6.4GB drives and some of my 20GB drives (all but two I still use).
